How to Change Settings & Language

Click EN or FR in the header to switch languages instantly. Your preference is saved to your profile — it persists across sessions and devices. The site reloads in the chosen language.

Not all pages have a French translation yet. If you land on an untranslated page, you'll see the English version with a notice.

From the Settings page (click your name or the settings icon in the nav), you can:

- Update your display name — only your first name is shown next to your reviews, so your identity stays private

- Change your password — update the password for your account

- View your credit balance and transaction history

Your email address is never shown publicly. Your first name and your highest badge are the only identifiers visible to other members on reviews.

During the alpha phase: If you need to change your email address or delete your account, send an email to contact@quiet-camping.com and we'll handle it manually.
